"A ringing noise snapped me out of my thoughts and I sprung up out of bed, surprised by the sound. Oh, it was just Alice's phone. I reached over to her side of the bed and grabbed it off of the nightstand because she was still in the shower and jumped up from the bed."Darling! Your phones ringing!" I called, jogging over to the door of our bathroom. I heard water stop almost immediately after I called in. "Want me to answer it?" I asked her as I glanced down at the caller ID. There wasn't a name but there was a number, I didn't recognize. Hmm."
