Chapter 11- Reaction
This chapter started by showing reaction, you all may have thought Jasper would get mad. But you have to realize that he wants whats best for Alice. Although we see here:
“What did he mean one of your bags?!” I demanded. Alice looked stunned at the tone of my voice.
“He went shopping with us.” She answered quietly. “He likes shopping.” She added. He likes shopping?! What is he gay..?! Or just saying he likes shopping to get her back. I growled Alice looked at me with alarm.That he DOES in fact lose his temper and that he is mad Alice is letting him near her. But as the chapter goes on he showing that he is really just being protective of her and that he isn't going to let her go without a fight!
When he said “hun” I swear I thought I would rip his throat out. The way he looked at her! The way he spoke to her! URG! I knew I wouldn’t do anything because that would bother Alice, but... it was so hard. The monster I was was going insane!
We also got a little of how Spencer felt, I know you all HATE him, but I showed how helpless he felt and how broken he was to see his girlfriend with Jasper. He just hopes she remembers him in time.
“She’ll remember Spencer, don’t worry, she’ll remember!” I told myself over and over. I ran my finger over her face. “She’s your baby; she’ll remember that... she’ll remember she loves you...” I choked out, tears starting to roll down my face.
It wasn't Alice's POV but we saw my Jasper's eyes how she was torn up about the whole thing. Mostly because she couldn't remember and she might still love Spencer.
“Don’t worry about him; he is no competition for you!” She tried to convince me, but something in her eyes told me not to believe her. My stomach tightened again.
Deleted scenes or Scenes added in last minute:
This scene was added last minute because I wanted to show the relationship he WAS going to e growing with the family.
“There’s my newest patient. How is the leg and the arm? ..and everything else in between!” He asked with a chuckle.
I gave him a little smile and walked into the living room. “It’s okay, thanks Carlisle.”
“Good! If you want me to take another look at it I could?” He put his newspaper down.
“No that’s okay Sir.” I replied politely, not wanting me to look at my arms.
“Alright then. Did you want to stay and watch the game? Emmet was just going to pick up some pizza before. You should stay. We would like to get to know you more.” He offered, I smiled gratefully.
“Sure thanks!” Carlisle and I talked for about ten minutes before Emmett, Edward and Bella walked in.
“Jasper is going to stay and watch the game with us Emmett.” Carlisle informed him. He pumped his fist in the air.
“Sweet man! Get ready to see some butting kicking! Oh... by the way, I already ate a pizza on the way here.”
Deleted scene:
The diner scene was changed a bit, when Johnny walked in all excited to show Jasper the cool car outside, I was thinking Jasper was just going to BLOW UP because Spencer was winning everyone over, including HIS MINI ME! I was going to have Jasper punch Spencer out. After seeing a lot of the reviews from this chapter I am thinking you guys would have LOVED that, but I did take it out because Jasper wouldn't want to upset Alice. :( sorry.
I also changed more in that scene, before Alice or Johnny had walked in Spencer was sitting at the counter and Jasper was talking to Nick. I was thinking of having Jasper admit to Nick what was really happening with everything and Nick was going to go over and scare Spencer out of the diner. BUT AGAIN, I decided against it.
I was thinking about Alice walking in when Jasper was being hit by Greg but I didn't want that kind of thing happening to Alice yet.
OH! and When Spencer told Johnny he could take a ride with him Jasper had not ran out he was going to be like.
"Johnny don't you know not to go in stranger's cars!" and Johnny would have listened to Jasper. But I thought it should be the other way around.
Explanations! LOL! Well, in the diner scene when Spencer blows up on Jasper for the "i love you" thing. You have to understand (DON'T KILL ME) that a love like Jasper and Alice's isn't normal, people don't just fall MADLY in love with each other in like 5 days! He doesn't understand it and he is not used to or comfortable with someone saying it to his longtime girlfriend. I thought I'd clear that up, since well I thought I should.
Oh yeah, Johnny has no idea who Spencer is and so he does not know not to like him. It really isn't his fault about the going for a drive! :P
